At 5:09 am, Crowder’s Mountain Fire and Rescue, was dispatched to a structure fire on Huffman Road. Engine's 55, 551 and 555 were on scene. Structure was unoccupied and no injuries were reported.

CMVFR conducted a controlled training fire. More than 25 firefighters attended this training session. Thank you to all that was involved!

CMVFR responded to an outbuilding fire this afternoon. Crews quickly suppressed the fire before it could spread to the surrounding area. No injuries were reported.

At 3:36 am, Crowders Mountain received activation for a House fire. Tanker 553 responded. No injuries reported.

At approx 9am, Station 55 along with EMS responded to a 2 car Motor vehicle accident, 2 people transported with non life threatening injuries.

Busy day at Crowders mountain fire and rescue.
At 1:06 pm Crowders mountain fire and rescue responded to a active brush fire. Crews worked approx 2.5 hours to contain and extinguish the wind fueled fire. No injuries were reported.

At 2:31 pm Crowders Mountain was dispatched to a structure fire on David Allen lane. Upon arrival, the structure was well involved as well as the backyard. Crews quickly worked to contain and extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.

These signs help us find your home or property in case of an EMERGENCY.
Having your property correctly identified is crucial in case you need to call 911.

They are only $15 per sign, or $20 with the sign mounted on a steel post.
These signs also help raise crucial funds for the Fire Department.
